Today is a green day at Color My World Daily. And since I have so many pictures from around Easter time, here we go.
I have a very busy day ahead: I have to brace myself for today’s video meeting. We are having a “after work” casual meeting with all my coworkers and bosses… I’m sooooo not good in that type of situations and since you all know my “love“ of video meetings by know, it should be interesting…Some gin & tonic may or may not be involved... But you know what they say: what is happening in a video meeting, stays in the video meeting ... unless you use Zoom, apparently your videos maybe shared and seen by others...
Have a great day, people!! I have to wash my hair and try to put some make up on (it has been almost a month since I’m almost 100% makeup free lol). And I have to find a shirt that will fit. I won’t even bother to try to fit in a pair of pants (I will keep my pajamas at the bottom lol…).

Hi Everyone, I sincerely hope everyone is having an amazing Labor Day weekend, even if you are not in the United States, that you are having a great time full of family, friends and love. :) It has been a non stop weekend for me and the craziness made me start to day dream of having that special someone and going away together for weekend trips, a nice quiet town tucked away from everything, just us and the ocean and hopefully some nice restaurants and boutiques to shop in. However, It is at that point of feeling the special mmmmmm, I hear my Uncle yelling as loud as possible for someone to bring him more charcoal for his grill. LOL. Have a wonderful week and love to you all! :)

A Message to all of my Flickr friends.
Firstly may I take this opportunity to thank you all for your views, faves, and comments on my photos. These are all very much appreciated by me, and are my reasons for being a flickr member.
About a week ago I suffered a major failure of a hard drive on my computer which contained several thousands of my photographs. Fortunately I had backed up this data, and I worked feverishly for a period of over 24 hours to replace the hard drive and restore my photos. This was not as straightforward as it sounds as I ran into other difficulties on the way the details of which I will not bore you with. Suffice to say that it was an arduous and time consuming affair which left me physically exhausted mainly because I was stupid enough to work at the matter without a break. I did however successfully rebuild my computer and restore my data but unfortunately left my own health depleted. I suspect that as a direct result of this I succumbed to a Covid like virus which literally caused my collapse. Fortunately all my Covid vaccinations were up to date and I suspect that I have been spared the full impact of that virus though judging only by the impact it has had on me, I can fully sympathise with anyone contracting the virus who has not been vaccinated fully.
I regret that it has left me in a very weak state both physically and mentally and, in an effort to recuperate my strength and health, I have decided to take a complete break from Flickr of at least a month.
I apologise for this absence and I truly shall miss you all and your photos and look forward to rejoining you as soon as possible. May I thank you all for your kind past support and friendship and assure you that I will be looking forward to rejoining you all once more in the future.
Finally may I wish you all the Compliments of the Season, may your God be with you all, and may each of you enjoy a very Happy New Year.

This project was not born from pretension. It was born from a genuine search to create a space where we could ᴇᴍʙʀᴀᴄᴇ ᴏɴᴇ ᴀɴᴏᴛʜᴇʀ, ᴇxᴘʀᴇꜱꜱ ᴏᴜʀꜱᴇʟᴠᴇꜱ ꜰʀᴇᴇʟʏ, ᴀɴᴅ ʀᴇᴄᴏɢɴɪᴢᴇ ᴏᴜʀ
ᴠᴜʟɴᴇʀᴀʙɪʟɪᴛʏ.
A search that led me to experiment and learn, with the intention of building something meaningful from both the personal and the collective.
In parallel to this process, I have been part of a training that I am about to complete in my real life.
Without going into those details, I can say that I offered myself as my own experiment: I took the leap, exposed myself, and tried a way of doing things that ᴅᴏᴇꜱ ɴᴏᴛ ᴄᴏᴍᴇ ɴᴀᴛᴜʀᴀʟʟʏ ᴛᴏ ᴍᴇ.
I did so knowing that there were aspects I did not fully master. I acted more from ɪɴᴛᴜɪᴛɪᴏɴ ᴛʜᴀɴ ꜰʀᴏᴍ ᴄᴇʀᴛᴀɪɴᴛʏ.
And that intersection—between creative impulse, deep intention, and a shared space—was, above all, ꜱᴛɪᴍᴜʟᴀᴛɪɴɢ, ʙᴜᴛ ᴀʟꜱᴏ ʀᴇᴠᴇᴀʟɪɴɢ ɪɴ ʙᴏᴛʜ ᴅɪʀᴇᴄᴛɪᴏɴꜱ.
I am learning to manage communication through these media and to channel it toward an objective or proposal—something connected to my training.
Keeping the essence alive was an exercise in balancing the idea, what I felt, and what I managed to express.
A true breeding ground, a challenge.
If some people felt that the approach blurred their own creative codes, it was never my intention;
I understand it may have been perceived that way, and from a place of honesty, I offer an apology—not for what I did, but for how it may have been interpreted.
Taking risks ᴀʟꜱᴏ ᴍᴇᴀɴꜱ ɴᴏᴛ ᴀʟᴡᴀʏꜱ ʙᴇɪɴɢ ᴜɴᴅᴇʀꜱᴛᴏᴏᴅ ᴀꜱ ᴇxᴘᴇᴄᴛᴇᴅ, especially when diverse perspectives come together and one is in a personal learning process.

I close this cycle with the certainty that growth involves facing discomforts, even our own.
