University of Gloucestershire Oxstalls campus held a major incident simulation codenamed Operation Blizzard.
This critical incident saw students from various courses working alongside each other following a mock terrorist attack on a Christmas market.

Bundestag Simulation, Kiev, Ukraine
Germany is the largest economy in the European Union and is often referred to as the engine of the EU, and therefore decisions made at the Bundestag level have a great impact on EU policy.
On the 5th of December, 2023 YEAs in Ukraine organised a simulation of the German Bundestag for students of Kyiv Taras Shevchenko National University.
Understanding the functioning of the Bundestag will help them to realise the importance of democracy at the parliamentary level of one country for EU policy.

- Normally, a drill bit is used (preferably one for CNCing), but in this case, a 1/4" flat end mill was used: depth was very small (only 1.5mm): just to create a reference for fastener hardware (screws), plus a bit of counterbore for the screw head.
The European Parliament simulation initiative – Model EU Moldova
Eighty young people from all over Moldova took part in the European Parliament simulation initiative, Model EU Moldova, from 12 to 14 April, 2024 in Chisinau, at the Republic of Moldova Parliament.
Through three days of masterclasses, debates, talks and the final vote, the participants learnt what it means to be a member of the European Parliament and to make decisions at the level of the European Union. They attended information sessions, studied real legislative proposals, proposed amendments and voted in favour of laws.
The participants also had the opportunity to exchange with the President of the Republic of Moldova, Maia Sandu, the Speaker of Parliament Igor Grosu, the EU Ambassador in Chisinau, Jānis Mažeiks, and the Deputy Head of the German Embassy in Moldova, Peter Buschmann.

Trying out the VCOT (Vehicular Combat.. uh.. something.. um.. I hate all these stupid military abbr's.) thing. Blasted thing gave me a headache using it for more than 4 minutes.
