Heifer Virtual Village: Nepal is browser-based real-time 3D simulation where the player's character must navigate a virtual Nepalese environment, interact with other characters in the village, and correctly complete tasks associated with the game's goal. In this Serious Game For Change you find yourself in a the simulated village where a few are prosperous, but most struggle with hunger and poverty. The player is Esha, a young girl from a poor family. Your mother's dearest wish is to somehow acquire a goat. A goat would provide your family with milk and the means of making money, which would allow Esha to go to school. Acquiring micro-loans and building animal pens are some of the activities the player engages in while playing the game. By demonstrating some of these activities in an online virtual world, Heifer hopes that the spirit of goodwill that ripples through communities as animals are passed on, will also be spread to some degree digitally.

I have been trying out a fun phone film simulation app, that promised to offer a variety of film simulation?
I'll let the viewer decide..
To me the point of this app should be to present the Image as it comes straight from the camera.
Today I chose Afga Ultra color 100.
Maybe not the best choice for a dull day, apparently it suited sunny conditions.
Web description ...
The Agfa Ultra 100 is a color negative film. The film, which was only available for 35 mm cameras, has not been available for a long time. It replaced the Ultra 50 at that time.
What distinguished this film back then were its colors. Not for nothing was it advertised by Agfa as the most color-intensive film in the world. The consumer film was characterized by its high color saturation with simultaneous color fidelity.
Location.. The Peak Forest Canal at Whaley Bridge.

This is another film simulation, here mimicking a yellowed old film with slightly reduced contrast.
Again, the basic adjustments are as follows:
1) Slightly blurring the original image.
2) Contrast reduction through curves. Specifically, raising the black point, compressing the shadows as well as the highlights.
3) Desaturation.
4) Color manipulation through curves. I added yellows in the highlights and a slight magenta bias in the shadows. Midtones are a tad warmer.
5) An overall yellow filter.
6) Grain.
Above you see a Before and After. Please view in high-res to see the film detail:
