Orbiter 2010 and 2016 versions are largely compatible. 2016 has better terrain graphics, 2010 has more supported addon spacecraft. In screenshot pairs, the top one is Orbiter 2010.

NASCAR Simulator. Two people can race each other. The screen on top of the hood shows the computer generated picture the driver see's. (The crashes don't dent you or the car!)
The website redesign for Forio is nearly complete. We're making extensive use of WordPress throughout the site to keep content fresh. Thus turning the site into a freakish half-blog / half-corporate chimera.

Cockpit Flight Simulator Trainer
McDonnell F-101B Voodoo
Cockpit simulators are used to train flight crews and to maintain their proficiency. The complexity of a simulator can vary. The cockpit procedures trainer (CPT) is a basic simulator that is used to train a flight crew in cockpit familiarization and checklist procedures. The CPT has no simulated aircraft systems or flight simulation.
More complex flight simulators have computerized aircraft systems and flight simulation that are programed to expose flight crews to various combat and emergency scenarios. Flight simulators can be either fixed based or full motion simulators.
This cockpit flight simulator trainer was used to train flight crews for the McDonnell F-101B Voodoo. The F-101B was an all-weather interceptor used by the Air Force and Air National Guard from 1959 through 1982. The pilot sat in the front and the radar intercept officer was in the back.
