(I lost the EXIF data while converting from Nikon’s NEF format to JPEG format using “Irfan View” as my “Capture NX” stopped working without any reason. The resolution became 72, in conversion but I don’t feel that much loss in quality)
Editing: Brightened a little and replaced the entire background, using Photoshop cs3

Wonderful Rochdale Music Society concert at the Heywood Civic Centre! By the Zelkova String Quartet it comprised pieces by Webern, Mozart, Frank Bridge and Ravel. I have to say that Ravel's Quartet in F came over really fresh and exciting, and there was great depth of feeling in the Bridge "Three Idylls". I wasn't as familiar with Webern's "Langsamer Satz" but found it enthralling. In comparison Mozart's SQ Op16 in Eflat K428 - though delightful - came over to me as almost 'too familiar'!
Great group - from l to r above - Caroline Pether, violin; Simran Singh, violin; Alex Mitchell, viola & Jonathan Pether, cello. Do look out for them!
Caroline told me the group is named after a tree - but the performances were anything but wooden!
