Me and a beat up display from a prop to promote The Simpsons the movie. It was originally placed in the cinemas for people to take picture with. After a few weeks of run in the cinema, it was moved to the DVD store. Homer's missing the remote. Couldn't get Bart in the shot as he was blocked by a poster.

Memorial to British cyclist at the spot on Mont Ventoux where he collapsed and died during the Tour de France. Passing cyclists leave bidons and other tributes. We drove up; I left my sunglasses. William Fotheringham has written an excellent biography of Simpson: Put Me Back on My Bike.

Marguerite Theresa Simpson his widow
Kate Theresa Simpson her daughter who was the wife of J. J. Weighell
and also William James Jr who died in infancy in Sydney in 1868. Hi, I'm looking for anymore information about my ancestors, particularly interested in the life of Marguerite Therese, who was sent to Australia alone by her parents at the age of 8, from Co. Cork, to escape the Irish potato famine (we believe).
After losing her husband William James Simpson in 1867, then her baby William James in 1868, she brought her 2 daughters, Kate and Agnes, over and somehow landed in Middlesbrough, where she built a successful retail business, one of her shops at 279 Newport Road, in the 1881 census, don't know if she had more.
She lived with her 2 daughters at 18 Oxford Road, and one of her daughters Agnes, married J W Weighill, a prominent figure I believe, he was at one time president of Middlesbrough Bowling Club, around 1911/12 I think. They lived at 36 The Avenue, Linthorpe (trying to find details of who lived there more recently, was it Stuart Bell MP or noted eye surgeon Mr McClure, as I know they lived next door to each other).
Any further information on any of these to put some meat on the bones would be appreciated.
We'd like to find the graves of J W Weighill and any of his family, he was my gr-gr-grandfather.
Also something we wondered, with William James Simpson being named at the top of the headstone, does this indicate Marguerite Therese brought his body over with her? We're assuming she was still living in Australia at the time of his death.
Thank you — with Elaine Reeve.

You can create a Simpson's character over at the Simpsons Movie website as well. The don't have the facial hair available like the Simpsonmaker does, but they do have hair that matches mine a bit better. Now, if I could combine the two...........
Amanda, the reason you don't see the camera is because I am taking a self-portrait. If I were to open my hand you'd see my IR remote! LOL ;-)
