Tucked snugly inside a weathered pot, this little chipmunk just outside my porch window seems to sum it all up, with cheeks full and paws busy. A simple joy, captured in the smallest of moments, truly my life in a nutshell.

We had brought food to the duck family, but not a single bird was around.

Outside, it was raining cats and dogs...inside, i was painting a clay pot and a tray...my fern got a fresh,new home..now, time to have a cup of tea enjoying rain :)

There’s something quietly beautiful about companionship—the kind that doesn’t need grand gestures or elaborate plans, just the simple presence of another soul. Whether it's sitting side by side in comfortable silence, sharing a laugh over an inside joke, or swapping stories deep into the night, there’s a warmth in knowing someone is there with you, without expectation or demand.
Companionship can be found in the everyday—watching the world go by together, listening to music or watching a movie with someone, or simply existing in each other’s space. It’s the ease of unspoken understanding, the familiarity of a well-worn bond, and the reassurance that even in quiet moments, connection is alive.
It doesn’t always need words; sometimes, a shared glance, a hand resting beside yours, or just the awareness of someone being near are enough to remind you that you’re not alone. And that is a gift in itself.
I visited Minoru Park in the cold New Year's Day morning and have some simple joy of minimalism shooting.

too big to worry,
too pure for anger,
too strong for fear and
too happy to think of anything as a problem.
While walking all of the sudden realized that I forgot to collect hair into a knot or ponytail but it was too late my long dark wavy hair were covered in pure white snowflakes as if someone spread diamonds all over them. And that was intimate, romantic & breathtaking.
Clickity click, clickity click then swooooooooooosh!
Stones on a cobble beach make the best sounds as waves wash ashore, then hurriedly retreat back only to repeat the entire process again and again. I love it so much, this simplicity.
Rialto Beach on the north Washington coast has a couple sections of beach that offer these wonderful sounds. It is so comforting to sit on a nearby log and be mesmerized for many minutes by this special, yet simple occurrence.

Simple Joy.
Every gift she got she carefully unwrapped and said Aaaa or Ooooo and was thrilled and started playing with it.
She used long time and enjoyed them all.
The other guests had to wait unwrapping their own presents because grandma couldn't move away from something so simple and precious as this lil precious one 🙏
Silence spreads like a wordless prayer. The lake breathes slowly, as time dissolves along the line where water meets sky. Nothing asks for haste.
There is an invisible dialogue between she and the horizon – a conversation that needs no sound, only presence. The tree, stripped of its leaves, understands. It bends with the wind but stands tall, holding secrets that winter cannot erase.
The bench is not just a place to rest but a space where thoughts drift lightly, dancing between what is and what once was. Solitude, here, does not weigh heavy. It spreads like light over the water, turning every absence into a poem.
At the lake’s edge, what feels missing becomes whole.

I find a piece of my soul every time I visit the sea.
