Visited St. Simons Island on our way to the Barbie Convention in Jacksonville. We were here on Monday July 25th and Tuesday July 26, 2016. I took pictures of this beautiful lighthouse on Monday evening (including some at night) and then again on Tuesday morning (July 26th) when I was able to climb the tower. The 104 foot tall lighthouse was built in 1872. So glad we could visit during our trip.
