This was from my only paid photoshoot of a cat! Taken with my first digital camera, a 3 mp Olympus. Not knowing how to go about photographing a cat, I brought catnip. The cat was so high he was practically doing backflips for me...
This handsome California canine is Simon is a 7-year-old rescue that looks like a Border Collie/Corgi mix (A Borgie!)
He's the first dog of pet dad Marty, who says, "In the time we've had him he's had eye surgery, and both knees have needed surgery. Through all of it he's been a stalwart, sweet guy who loves everybody and their dogs. He's the best doggie ever, and we call him the "rescuer" because when any dog in the neighborhood is on the loose we just take him out on his leash and that dog comes to him and we grab them and take them home. It works every time. This picture was taken at the Cayucos CA dog beach, which is our favorite place on earth."
