Podría decir que esta composición pretende ser, tanto por lo buscada como por el encuadre, la continuación o el complemento de otra imagen publicada anteriormente, que titulé "perspectivas".

No creo sorprender a nadie si digo que una buena parte de las dos horas y media que me pasé recorriendo ese patio enorme, estuvieron dedicadas a buscar composiciones con simetrías, perspectivas, contrastes arquitectónicos y, como siempre... luz.

En esta, creí ver una posibilidad de conseguir una doble simetría, horizontal y vertical.

Por un lado, me di cuenta de que el agua no me daba la posibilidad de reflejar los edificios que contienen las muchas salas del museo, pero sí me permitían reflejar perfectamente toda la pirámide, consiguiendo una simetría horizontal con ella.

Por otra parte, también creí intuir que, si conseguía el encuadre deseado, podría obtener una simetría vertical, tal que dividiendo la imagen en dos partes justamente por el centro, cada una de las torres del museo y su mitad correspondiente de pirámide, formarían una simetría con el otro lado.

Me parece que, si no lo conseguí totalmente, al menos me acerqué bastante.

For decision, I located the symmetry of the three mountain slopes from a higher perspective and focused on capturing the mists with long exposure (two seconds) to preserve the traces generated by their movement.

Because of the rain, in one hand holding my umbrella, and the other controlling the camera mounted on my tripod.
