Simba has slowed down since he has aged. He enjoys sleeping and helping out in the kitchen. He is a great cleaner of dropped food. He is also the alarm clock for 7 am in the morning, barking for his breakfast.

Inside ADI's Operation Spirit of Freedom Peru: Simba and Rey arriving at the ADI Spirit of Freedom Rescue Center. They had just crossed the Andes with ADI having been removed from a circus in Ayacucho. The ADI Spirit of Freedom Rescue Center is a temporary holding facility where the animals can be cared for by ADI following seizure from circus. It is a basic hospital facility until the lions go to their forever home. The holding cages sponsored by ADI supporters can be joined together here to give the lions a more space to run and play until they can be relocated to their real home.

On my last trip to South Africa I more or less subsisted on Simba chili flavoured chips (crisps, I mean, sorry). Pretty impressive given I don't like chili.
