September 05 - Simba sleeps on the table bed we set up for Nala in her last weeks. I had set up a memorial for her...and Simba soaked it in.
Simba is an Abyssinian cat with "usual" colouring (aka ruddy). He's looking guilty here as I've caught him eating grass.

The Mara Simba occupies a great position above the Talek River. The Restaurant and bar looks down on the water with hippos in the water. Hi from the Mumby Family!
I have been meaning to write you to update you on how things are going with our 2 new big boys we adopted at the Fee Waived Adoptathon. My husband and I were the first in line that Saturday morning and were very excited to get Richie Rich and Sylvester. Richie never answered to his name so we changed it back to Simba, which we found out was his original name anyway. We have a 16 year old cat, Jester, that we have been working on the introductions. Of course Jester is the Queen and is very sure to let the boys know every chance she gets. It doesn’t stop them from being fun, loving and feisty! Simba even thought he’d try to coax Jester into playing one day and pounced on her. She batted him a few times on the head and told him no.. he didn’t care he just flopped on his side and took a nap instead! We are so happy and pleased with our boys and feel it was the best choice!! Thank you for holding this event! I hope you enjoy the pictures. I’ve included one of all 3 cats, one of Simba in his favorite spot in the house, one of the boys being loving together, Sylvester relaxed and a selfie of myself and Sylvester!
