War on Terror: Inside / Out—Photographs by Christopher Sims and Stacy Pearsall juxtaposes the work of two artists: Sims' photographs capture simulated Iraqi and Afghani villages in the US where troops train prior to their overseas deployment; while Pearsall, a military photographer, shows troops in the field in Iraq and Afghanistan.

The Sims Bridge across the Sacramento River in Northern California was constructed in 1933. It was the first major project completed by the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC). Camp Sims was located at the current Sims Flat Campground.
I think I heard Zoe Connelly say that the grand opening for Codie's Rouge sim Code Red club was the party of the year! Rouge is red... and the club is too! Everything rich and beautifully scarlet, Codie has designed the ultimate party place on the grid.
I came back several times over the day to check the dj's and the party people. I caught DJ Digital and DJ Goodes and saw a gazillion people there.
It was a who's who of Second Life celebrities mixing and mingling with the electronica ravers and the networking arms of SL business.
Wow! What a party, Codie... and thank you so much for the invite! I'll be back for more... and by the way, loved your lingerie! Giggles...

Vagner Freitas de Moraes nasceu em abril de 1966. Começou a trabalhar aos 15 para ajudar a complementar o orçamento familiar. Até os 20 anos, sem carteira assinada, foi entregador do Café do Ponto e carregador de mexerica na CEAGESP, sempre estudando no período norturno. Entrou na faculdade e conseguiu cursar História durante dois anos. Abandonou o curso por conta das tarefas sindicais que foi assumindo ainda muito jovem.
A história sindical de Vagner, que é casado e tem dois filhos, começou cedo. Aos vinte anos, em menos de uma semana, se inscreveu, passou em um processo de seleção, foi contratado e começou a trabalhar como caixa do Banco Bradesco, em 25 de fevereiro de 1987. Antes de receber o primeiro salário, em março, para surpresa de sua chefia, participou ativamente da primeira greve de sua vida – fez piquetes para parar uma agência do Unibanco na Vila Prudente – e passou a participar das ações do Sindicato dos Bancários e Financiários de São Paulo, Osasco e região como militante.
Em 1991, foi convidado para fazer parte da chapa de Gilmar Carneiro, candidato a reeleição. Participou de uma das eleições mais disputadas da história do Sindicato que, naquele ano tinha duas fortes chapas inscritas. Vagner foi convidado pela chapa vencedora e virou diretor Regional da Mooca.
Imediatamente, começou a frequentar a CUT – Central Única dos Trabalhadores. “Nunca me senti apenas bancário e, sim, CUTista”, costuma dizer Vagner. Para ele, a CUT é sinônimo de luta, de solidariedade, de não corporativismo. “Aqui, somos todos trabalhadores. Não tem isso de categoria”.
No final da década, Vagner foi para a Confederação Nacional dos Bancários (CNB), que organizava a categoria bancária. Na CNB, ocupou os cargos de secretário de Organização (1997), secretário Geral (2000/2003) e presidente, na gestão 2003-2005. Em 2006, junto com toda a diretoria, fundou a CONFRAF/CUT para organizar todo o ramo - bancários, financiários, promotores de vendas, securitários, especialistas em tecnologia da informação, trabalhadores do mercado de capitais e trabalhadores de cooperativas de crédito, entre outras – e presidiu a Confederação entre 2006 e 2009. No mesmo período, assumiu também a presidência da UNI Finanças América; a secretaria Geral do setor de Finanças da Coordenadora das Centrais Sindicais do Cone Sul (CCSCS) e também foi membro do Comando Nacional dos Bancários da Contraf/CUT.
Paralelamente, na gestão 2006-2009 da CUT, ocupou o cargo de secretário de Política Sindical; na gestão 2009-2012, assumiu a secretaria de Administração e Finanças da CUT; e, em 2012, foi eleito presidente da CUT. Este ano, foi reeleito para gestão 2015-2019.

These are the kids of James and Elyse, two RP sims I had get together in game. The one on the right is their eldest, Elizabeth. She originally had James' eyes, but they made her look stoned, so I changed them. The two teens are Leona (Leo) and William (Will), who were actually not cheat-code twins! I was wicked surprised, she just had twins without me forcing them.
These are probably the best looking kids I've ever gotten in game. Will looks a little stoned, but his lips turned out nicely. Leo looks just like her mom, except I also changed her eyes since she looked strange with the green ones from James. Her face is really intense, and I dunno, the skintone makes her cheekbones look strange, but I airbrushed it a bit in OpenCanvas to make it less shiny. I also changed Will's skintone since the one for James as a teen is like absurdly shiny.
But I'm thinking about bringing Will and Leo to Urban Decay to roleplay them, since me and Haley retired James and Elyse! Any thoughts?
