On my first Mac I used to have this simulation game called Sim City. The game was cool. You were basically the mayor of this city and your city would grow depending on how wisely you invested bucks on infrastructure while trying to keep those pesky taxes low enough to where all the residents wouldn't move out. Think what you want about modern parallels and where I could philosophically go with this, but that would be digressing. The reason I posted this picture is because it reminded me of how a Sim City looked when things were on the upswing....at least before I got seriously uptight with those whiney, needy, little Sim Cititzens and unleashed a natural disaster--the tsunami was my favorite. I gotta do something about these Zeus-wannabe tendencies .

I like her make-up. She always try her own styles. It works.. Cool huh.. Shes jus getting better.. not a kid anymore i guess :)

Look at this.. This is how she looks a long ago..

Had some fun playing with my sim Meredith, this is her at her house. Ivy (blue dress) and a dude I made ages ago and a random maxis guy came, I made her only greet the custom ones.. :P They all hit it off well until the dude tried to hug Meredith and they had just met..

I love the bottom two pictures especially the one of Ivy spying on the cat!

Pictures (left to right) -

1. Kickball's never been so scary.

2. More kickball..

3. Asking if Ivy had any skills and no.. she didn't.

4. Ivy resisting Meredith's pillow-fight hitting.

5. Ivy spying on that poor cat :P It's like he knew she was watching judging by his face.

Alright, so I ended up getting this as well and honestly, I really, really like it! For game though, doubt it can replace sims 2 for editing. We'll see when I'm more used to it but so far...nah.

I tried to remake sims 3 characters for my RP guys but the lack of hair made me cringe. So I started by how I started with the sims 2, with my S3 me! The one with the white shirt yeah. The clothes are actually better than the Sims 2 and oh god I love the personality thing in create-a-sim. The options there for that are pretty awesome! And teh body size thing is more realistic, but could still use some tweeking. Let's not be too demanding though.

Ok, so for now I'm still exploring, but I have to say I love the new interaction type, as you can see here. And I think its great that the interaction options are affected by your sims personality.

It got a little dull playing just sim me though, so I added sim rosered in the neighborhood (my neighbor actually). Bahahhaa. But, given she's a teen, I had to give her a parent, so I gave her a hot bad boy neurotic dad. Ok, Neurotic sims kick ass XD. And given Rosered is a bit of a coward, it makes it better because he keeps scaring her every chance he gets and just rambles on and on about random conspiracies. mmhmm. Not to speak of his checking of the stove, you know, gas leaks and explosions and all. bahhaha

The neighborhood thing is pretty neat, though you don't actually go inside the buildings. I hope that'll eventually change, it's a bit annoying. Oh and gosh, this makes me laugh to no end, oddly enough. Cheap toilets are hard to flush and makes sims yell and complain at it. I died of laughter the first time I saw that. XD

I'll probably take more pics later...

Fantasy Fair 2018 - Sim: Sponsored by Emerald Hurst

On our last visit to the University of Oklahoma, we drove by the stadium and saw a group of statues. We stopped to look at them and realized they were of the Sooner Heisman Trophy winners.

Billy Sims won the Heisman Trophy in 1978.

Miss Laura met us at the visitor center at Randolph and hopped in our car; she escorted us onto base and we made our way back to her building. This Air Force base is beautiful... the architecture and layout is actually really well done. This was my first time ever on a military base so I was just as enamored as Anna! Once we got into her building, she showed us her office and had an incredibly professional slideshow to present about her career. She is a bad-ass! She's been flying for nearly 30 years and loves training students to be Air Force pilots. This is the sim room. That round pod on the left was the simulator we were going to visit. It's the T-6A Texan II and is the USAF's primary trainer.
