Jetzt ist sie angekommen. Die haben sich jetzt richtig was zu erzählen. Ich lass die jetzt allein, da will ich nicht stören.

Ludwig-Musser is a drum and percussion instrument manufacturer that is part of the Conn-Selmer division of Steinway Musical Instruments. Ludwig was founded in 1909, followed by Musser in 1948.
Ich hab sie endlich gefunden - Steffi irrte im Alexisquartier herum.
Du hast Nerven, hier so halb nackt vor der Nase von den ganzen Bauarbeitern aus Bulgaristan herumzutanzen!
Ja, ich weiß, ich kenne das Kleid, es gehörte deiner Schwester Daliah. Du vermisst sie immer noch. Ich auch. Du hast auch die Bilder von dieser Insel der toten Puppen in Mexico gesehen. Denkst du, Daliah ist dort? Du bist ja völlig durch den Wind.
Daliah ist nicht dort, sie liegt auf dem Friedhof in Ottobrunn. Wir haben sie doch selbst begraben, vor fast 50 Jahren. Wie sollte sie von da nach Mexico kommen?
Weißt du, der alte Mann, der da auf dieser Insel lebt, hab ich mir sagen lassen, hat die Puppen da aufgehängt, damit sie die Geister aus den Sümpfen fernhalten. Und sie machen einen guten Job.
Ich möchte nicht wissen, was sich da alles in dem braunen Wasser herumtreibt. Mexico City ist ein Moloch, eine riesige Millionenstadt und die Sümpfe liegen direkt davor.
Zu Moctezumas Zeiten war das noch ein kristallklarer See, die Tempel ragten an den Ufern in die Höhe. Dort gab es Menschenopfer und deren Blut war es, was den See so übel verdunkelte.

Komm nach Hause, wir finden eine Hose, eine Leggin oder eine hübsche Glitzerstrumpfhose, irgendwas, was zu dem Kleid passt. Heute läuft man wirklich nicht mehr so rum. Das Kleid hatte sie original von der Carnaby Street 1968, es ist heute ein Vermögen wert.
Und ich hab ein Schnäppchen gemacht. Nur DHL halt mal wieder... Das wichtigste an der ganzen Barbiesammlung sind die Gesichter und die Geschichten, die sie erzählen. Die alten, wie die neuen.

I found this doll at a thirft store. She is a Talking Barbie head that was switched to an older straight legged body. Thats fine with me for 99cents. She is wearing a genuine Barbie vintage "silver sparkles" outfit. I re-styled her hair as close to the original talking Barbie as I could.

Ludwig silver sparkles - with muffling, from apartment days.
So, two bass drums - a 22x16" and a 24"x14"...
Main toms are 8", 10", 12", 15" (odd size), and 16" and 18" floor toms.
There's also a 14x14" floor tom off to the left - and above that is a 13" tom, with a RotoTom above it.
The snare, out of view, is a 14" Ludwig snare, 6" deep, with custom orangey-yellow flame covering.
All the drums were purchased separately on eBay, over the course of about six months, except for the two smallest toms which came as a pair.
Cymbals are Sabian - 14" hihats, 20" ride, 14", 16" and 18" crashes, 6", 8", and 10" splashes, and 10" and 20" Chinas.
The hardware is (mostly) Premier, and the stool is a Roc-n-Sock hydraulic model.

This beautiful murano glass pendant shines with shades of blue, silver, brown. The black ribbon complement the pendant and does not take from the elegance of the piece.
The black satin 'chain' including clasp is 16".
