The "Dragon Heart Beats" processional musical monstravaganza stalks around the Lace Market area of Nottingham city centre, during Nottingham Light Night, an annual multi-venue night of illuminations and art in the city centre.
"Dragon Heart Beats" is a five-meter mobile long sculpture created by Hubcapcreatures in conjunction with Positive Productions. It combines a costumed percussion and music team with amplified sound, smoke effects and a fireshow. All of which I missed here :S
Taken with a Nikon D40, fitted with a Nikkor AFS DX 18-55mm F/3.5-5.6G II lens, and processed in GIMP and Photoscape.

Binemust is a creative sim-wide build by Biné Rodenberger. There are lots of layers to it, and it's a fun place for SL photography. The SLurl is maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Binemust/4/85/24.

You, darkness, of whom I am born—
I love you more than the flame
that limits the world
to the circle it illuminates
and excludes all the rest.
But the dark embraces everything:
shapes and shadows, creatures and me,
people, nations—just as they are.
It lets me imagine
a great presence stirring beside me.
I believe in the night.

Draconic rage unleashed in riots, spreading hatred like wildfires. False calm, a mask concealing emotion imprisoned by restraint, blind to injustice, unable to speak. Where is the balance, the middle way, the via media?
This is my entry for this year's Fallen God and Goddess contest.
2020 has been a difficult year for everyone, and very much so for me, with various issues conspiring to keep me from participating as fully as I would wish in Second Life.
Let us all hope for better things in 2021!
A Douglas A-26 Invader thunders close by us, impressing us with its silver skin and colorful nose...

These planes entered WWII in August of 1943 and continued to serve in a limited capacity in the Vietnam Conflict.
"The Douglas A-26 Invader (designated B-26 between 1948 and 1965) is a twin-engined light bomber and attack aircraft built by Douglas Aircraft Company during World War II which also saw service during several major Cold War conflicts. A limited number of highly modified United States Air Force aircraft served in Southeast Asia until 1969."

Love is a light in the heart
That turns the darkest sky into a velvet case
Filled with stars like glittering jewels
So bright because they are reflecting
The love that shines from you
Transforming lives
Making the darkness shine
And every moment sparkle with joy.

The last two years have been quite difficult, as I have struggled with illness in RL. I have not been able to give much time to Second Life, as the so-called “real” one consumed most of my energy. But through it all, I continually found healing in the fantasy worlds of Second Life, most especially the amazing work of Alia Baroque of Fallen Gods. Alia, thank you for the joy you bring to the world through your art, and for the smiles and laughter you inspire amongst all the Fallen.
Yes, yes, I know it’s March, and we are supposed to write about Spring. But here at Chez Silverdragon, in RL, it’s 16° F outside on this March morning. So this cozy sweater that Ascend is offering at The Man Cave shopping event this month resonated with me.
I absolutely love the textures of this sweater, available in 11 rich colors. It looks soft and warm and comforting… perfect for lounging around the house on your day off.

Douglas A-26 Invader "Silver Dragon" a little worse for wear and tear at the 2017 Thunder Over Michigan Air Show held at Willow Run Airport September 2-4, 2017.
The Fallen Gods 12th Anniversary Party on October 19, 2019 was a 12-hour marathon of fun, celebrating one of the most remarkable and awesome creators and communities on Second Life. Here are the looks I wore for the costume themes during the party.
Theme: The Fallen Divines
Silver Dragon (my usual look!):
Skin: Fallen Gods - Draco Pearl
Hair: Exile - Broadcast the Boom Bento Hair

My very first try at inktober, I hadn’t watch any ink tutorials yet, this one was made on October 3rd

Mi primer intento de inktober, no habia visto ningun tutorial de tinta aun, este fue hecho el 3 de Octubre
Bien, lo he acabado y estoy extraordinariamente feliz.
Allright, I've finished it and I'm extraordinarily happy. Maybe it would be good if I lenghtened the tail, or continue the scale set behind the wings, but for now, I'm satisfied. I've also got an idea to get the colour changes, I'll see in a later folding how do they end. Oh, and I'll publish soon CP, the matter is that it's in the other computer, that by now has no head...
Douglas A-26B-45-DL Invader "Silver Dragon"; s/n 44-34104, N99420.
Note: On 26 July 2016 this aircraft was damaged in a landing accident in Oshkosh during the annual EAA Fly-In when the nose gear retracted upon touchdown. Fortunately the crew emerged unhurt.
Chinese dragons traditionally symbolize potent and auspicious powers, particularly control over water, rainfall, typhoons, and floods. The dragon is also a symbol of power, strength, and good luck for people who are worthy of it. [Source: Wikipedia]
This beautiful aircraft attended the 2016 Planes of Fame air show so I thought it appropriate to make it the subject of my first A-26 caricature. I wish I had taken more pictures of her when she was at the show.
