We're flying over Indiana farmland near Mt. Comfort, east of Indianapolis on board the ill fated B17G Liberty Belle as she casts her shadow in June 2006. Liberty Belle was destroyed by fire after a forced landing near Aurora IL.
This was the earliest i had ever gone to Conowingo Dam for the season. There were less - less eagles & less people (but more parking) so it was a two-sided coin. Parking (and fence space) was still there, even by 8:40am

This silouetted noose became even more dramatic in this rising sun while visiting the Mescal Movie Set... an old western town movie set built near Benson, AZ in the 60's. More than 80 Western movies have used this set. During Covid the tours stopped and the owners went bankrupt but a local ranching family saved the whole town set from demolition and movies are once again being filmed there along with tours and special events.

This is a digital illustration that I made based in a real light painting of my body.
Adriana, my wife, made the contour with a little led lamp.
A didn't shoot this today, but I made the last color and grain adjustments to finish and send this to our new website in a intent to fix our March 20th post. So, this were my photograph work for today. Hope you enjoy!!!! :)
It was a beautiful Sunday morning in southeast Texas. We were sitting on our back deck enjoying coffee this morning when this cardinal landed on the top of pole that holds our bird feeder. It was looking at the silhouette for several seconds before it flew off. Too good of a photo to pass up! :)
The Mortlake Power Station is a 550MW open cycle gas-fired power station being developed by Origin Energy, located 12 km west of Mortlake, Victoria..
.
Construction of the $640 million power station began in 2008. It was initially due to be operational in 2010, and was completed in August 2012..
.
The plant is located on approximately 20 hectares of land with an extensive buffer zone around it. Although approvals have been gained for approximately 1,000 MW, the Mortlake Power Station will be built in two stages adjacent to the existing Moorabool to Heywood 500 kV high voltage transmission line. The plant will be supplied with natural gas via an 83 km dedicated underground natural gas transmission pipeline from the new gas processing plant being built near Port Campbell, as part of the offshore Otway Gas Project. The 2019 contribution to Remembrance Sunday. "Awae Intae Battle" By Donald Gibson.
Awae intae battle
They say wae must go
Sent in tae kill the foe
Whit we never knew
The effect o'er the horror
Of whit we do
Tae see a man get blawn tae pieces
Makes me shiver
At the slaughter o'er species
War turns men intae savages
Any that survive find it hard
Tae live wae the damages
Dae correct me if I'm wrang
Fighting in battle
Means we all end up singing
A very sad sad sang
Translation
Away into battle
They say we must go
Sent in to kill the foe
What we never knew
The effect of the horror
Of what we do
To see a man get blown to pieces
Makes me shiver
At the slaughter of our species
War turns men into savages
Any that survive find it hard
To live with the damages
Do correct me if I'm wrong
Fighting in battle
Means we all end up singing
A very sad sad song
