I am not sure if I have chosen the right composition for this picture. I have spent days putting it together and then walking away. I have several different versions, my objective was to make the signalman the focal point but it was hard to give him the prominence with everything else going on. My 2nd choice was a version where the signal box filled 70% of the picture but it was hard to get over the autumn tea time feel.
For the record 66799 waits to leave with the 1812 Tunstead to Washwood Heath whilst an unidentified DB 66 passes with the 1243 Walsall to Dowlow.
While visiting a family member who lives on a local lake, this guy flew by and landed on a neighbors pier. Not sure what he would be hunting out on the water. Maybe he was just enjoying the sunset.

I was so excited to upload this! I went out late afternoon and got a lot of great pictures to work with. This was one of my favorites. The wings idea was inspired by the Maximum book series, great books btw.
I have been doing so many silouettes lately. Forgive me if your getting tired of them.
The sun has set and the crew is preparing for the new move on this PM 1225 charter north of Owosso, Michigan on February 16, 2008, "ohhh yes" . . . . this sure would be a welcome event anytime in the future.
