Busy again but a good kind of busy :)

I had an awesome time shooting Amit and Jasmin's wedding. I got the chance to get to know them and the time we had shooting and goofing around during the bridal/park sessions were so much fun. From my experience, the connection between the photographers and their 'client' I think is a hidden element in wedding photography.

I'll be catching up big time since I've been MIA from flickr. I have to thank the old and new contacts that still stayed in touch with me all this time :)

What struck me about this couple in walking for the official wedding photographer was that they were so obviously in love and at ease with one another.

The official wedding photographer would have gotten a much better angle directly behind them. (I didn't want to get in his way!)

So my angle shows all the broken branches strewn on the ground and downed by the 94 kph wind gusts of last weekend's storm.

Not the greatest thing to include in wedding photography, but perhaps it's a fitting metaphor for Love walking through the various storms and sunny periods of Life.

Just a small selection of the 180 hand-piped henna-inspired cookies for Devina & Amrit's wedding.

Congratulations to Sharmini and Gajan who celebrated their wedding at the InterContinental, Park Lane. Looking at lots of different cakes for style ideas, we designed this 4 tier cake with an ombré pink marble effect with delicate hand-painted gold tracks and finished with a fantasy peony.

I was lucky enough to be passing the local Sikh temple when the bride arrived and managed to just catch this shot of her as she got out of the car and just before she was engulfed in the enormous crowd of guests that were waiting for her.
