Ogilvie Mountains, Yukon Territory

Since this photo taken in 2002 this Maldon Iron Works post had a facelift in 2005. It is on the east side of the B1383 at TL 5071 2431. This post was ordered 1/7/1927.

Even after a paint job this post is still overpowered by adjacent stuff.

Signpost on the Blackdown Hills in Somerset

First outdoor series of images taken by my new 40D, with 17/85 f4-5.6 ESM lens. All were taken at Kilcoole Beach. Expect many more of the same area to follow, its one of my favourite locations. 27/6/08

Located A134 east side. Made by Maldon Iron Works. One arm broken off and the finial missing. Grid ref TM 9779 3026 and photo taken 2003.

A direction and distance sign beside Belmont Bridge. It's always good to make sure you are walking in the correct direction.

Signpost in Cranham

Although missing its finial and a couple of plain spacers this Maldon Iron Works example is in fairly good condition. Photo dated 2003. Location TL 5770 2703.

Overheard while I was taking this picture:

American tourists behind me: "So what we need to do is to go around the Royal Crescent, into Charlotte, down Gay and into Barton..."

It was funny to hear the streets referred to like that - make Bath sound like NYC.
