A common sight in Montana's very rural interior are these signposts at intersections with the names of the people who live on each road and the distance to each. This particular signpost is located outside of Winifred, Montana.

I don't know the name of this wildflower but it's very pretty and very delicate with its petals pointing in all directions, much like those signposts that say Sydney 878km, Perth 3,417km, South Pole 5,809km.

Taken on Uphill Beach, Weston super Mare on a yucky November afternoon. Managed to spend 30-35 minutes between storms photographing my favourite area of WsM.
I've had the swordfish since teenage years when it was the rage to collect glass animals. This was a present from a friend.
The signpost is a memento from our canal boat holidays, these can be found alongside the Trent and Mersey canal. During the war they were removed for fear of enemy invasion, since then they have been restored and replaced.

An exhilarating 90 mile route across the glorious high country of the Yorkshire dales from Saltaire to Appleby in Westmorland. Many that walk the route then return to Saltaire by railway along the stunning Settle/ Carlisle line.
Isn't this bird feeder fabulous? Our neighbour made this himself - I said he should market the design and make a fortune! It certainly attracts the birds and is also in a position that we can benefit from watching them too :))x

The first Camellia Sasanqua. We usually don't see these until mid to late October. Thanks for the look.
Out today with Pauls Pix 53 and ianbartlett for about a 6-7 mile wander around Battle.
I set us a brief for the day ... cameras in mono and square crop and use a lens you don't use very often. I went out with just a 45mm, which I haven't used for ages.
The sculpture "Signpost" on the Sava River levee shows women's legs and is a reminder of the women-only bathing area on the river that was there since the mid-1920s until the flood in 1964 destroyed it.
