Not a very interesting photograph, but as the signpost is currently advertising the upcoming opening date for the Public I thought it was worthwhile preserving in it's current state.
Signposts like these, which are dotted around West Bromwich town centre and the surrounding areas, seem to be the only publicity the opening is actually receiving (apart from the media reports with local residents decrying the project and the quite frankly extortionate entry fee). Even the building itself gives no clue as to it's opening date.
Levare, Mayenne, France, 2012- a surviving 'Michelin' four sided direction post- looks like it has been patched up with cement to keep it going

そして貴方が穏やかにその刻を迎えられるよう、逝く道を誤らぬよう、手をとって導きます。

I decided after work yesterday to drive down to the Erie Canal Towpath in Valley View, Ohio. I picked a spot I had not been to before and took a walk along the path to enjoy the sun and the wildlife. Before I got far, I came across this signpost near one of the Erie Canal locks.
The Pilgrim Fathers came from Billericay and set sail for America on the Mayflower.
Depeche Mode came from Basildon.
So many choices. At least you shouldn't get lost. No distances, only average walking times. Excellent idea
A good deal of the buildings in Savannah's historic district look just like the one in the background.
A signpost shows the directions for major cricket stadiums in the world. This signpost is installed on the entrance of a cafe named The Cricket Club located at the Duplication Road, Colombo. I used to take lunches or dinners at this cafe close to the apartment house where I lived three years. I want to be in Colombo again. This image was taken by Minolta Dimage 7 which is my first digital camera.
