It looks like the signmaker will need to retake Apostrophe Usage 1A before he can join the ceremony.
Standard acute accent proved to be too limiting in a creative sense. Thus, a new diacritic mark has been introduced by the Prague Signmakers Guild: rotating acute accent (RAA). Its simple mounting – with one screw only – saves time and enables easy rotation at 360º, providing desired random variability.

In Saskatoon, November 16, 2013 proved to be a cold day for a March. While -8C was not barrier to outside activity in itself, it was the 30+kph wind from the E/NE that chilled as we walked, bused, biked to Midtown Plaza to gather for the march. We were relieved that the gathering place was on the West side of the all, and out of the wind. Petitions were signed! A signing table had a couple of clipboards with petition copies and “Chick” wheeled her wheelchair around cheerfully collecting signatures. The signmakers were busy, there were many signs either brought to the march or handed out for those that did not have signs. We were all pleased when the “Idle No More” banner was unfurled.

John Prine, Spanish Pipedream
She was a level-headed dancer on the road to alcohol
And I was just a soldier on my way to Montreal
Well she pressed her chest against me
About the time the juke box broke
Yeah, she gave me a peck on the back of the neck
And these are the words she spoke
Chorus:
Blow up your T.V. throw away your paper
Go to the country, build you a home
Plant a little garden, eat a lot of peaches
Try an find Jesus on your own
Well, I sat there at the table and I acted real naive
For I knew that topless lady had something up her sleeve
Well, she danced around the bar room and she did the hoochy-coo
Yeah she sang her song all night long, tellin' me what to do
Repeat chorus:
Well, I was young and hungry and about to leave that place
When just as I was leavin', well she looked me in the face
I said "You must know the answer."
"She said, "No but I'll give it a try."
And to this very day we've been livin' our way
And here is the reason why
We blew up our T.V. threw away our paper
Went to the country, built us a home
Had a lot of children, fed 'em on peaches
They all found Jesus on their own
great old folk song

Katz's Delicatessen (1888)
205 E. Houston St.
Lower East Side, New York
In 1888 the Iceland Brothers opened a delicatessen on Ludlow Street. They took on Willy Katz as a partner in 1903 and changed the name to Iceland and Katz. In 1910, Willy and his cousin Bennie bought out the Iceland brothers and the deli became Katz's. With the building of the IND subway and the widening of Houston Street in the mid-1930s, the deli relocated across Ludlow Street. Meats and pickles were on offer in barrels in the next door vacant lot on Houston Street. In the late 1940s, the deli expanded to this lot creating the present corner location. Needing a new sign for the corner storefront, they were asked by the signmaker what the sign should say, and they replied "Katz's, that's all." And that's just what he made. The sign still graces the window on Houston Street. The deli famously appeared as a location in WHEN HARRY MET SALLY.

"Historic Site 1892" sign by New Orleans artist/signmaker Dr. Bob, Chartres Street, Bywater, on the side of the Dr. Bob studio.
A historic world heavyweight championship boxing match indeed took place on Chartres Street in 1892, in the square between Chartres, Montegut, Royal, and Clouet. Dr. Bob depicts the event as taking place in the open air (perhaps influenced by photos of the Sullivan - Kilrain Fight of 1889 which took place in a field near Hattisburg, Mississippi). Actually the 1892 New Orleans fight took place indoors, inside the "Olympic Club" building, which took up the entire block and was expanded to house 10,000 spectators for the event.
I haven't found any images of New Orleans' Olympic Club building on line. A search of illustrated papers of the era might well turn something up, since the event was a big deal.
The Olympic's address was orginally 547 Royal; 2725 Royal after the streets were renumbered in the 1890s to the system still in use. There were entrances on both Royal and Chartres Streets.
The match is sometimes considered the start of the modern era of boxing. It was one of the first where boxing gloves and the Marquis of Queensbury rules were used, held indoors at night with electric illumination. Reigning champion John L. Sullivan, of the old bare-knuckle streetfighter school, was defeated by "Gentleman Jim" Corbett of the new "scientific" school of boxing which considered tactics as important as brute strength.
