The long abandoned and derelict tunnels beneath Piccadilly Circus tube station still bear hallmarks of their past days, such as these Victorian signs, designed by Lesley Green, pointing the once thronging crowds in the right direction.
Although much of the country is in the grip of winter weather, and the Bay Area today has cold rain, these daffodils give promise of a warm spring to come! Seen yesterday in my neighborhood.

“I believe in signs....what we need to learn is always there before us, we just have to look around us with respect & attention to discover where God is leading us and which step we should take. When we are on the right path, we follow the signs, and if we occasionally stumble, the Divine comes to our aid, preventing us from making mistakes.”
― Paulo Coelho, The Zahir
Another of the many funny translated safety signs posted at tourist locations throughout China. This sign as posted on at the entrance to the shaky suspended foot bridge at the entrance to the Shibaozhai Pagoda. The pagoda is located on the northern bank of Yangtze River, to the east of Chongqing.

There are many signs of Spring about now and this Grey Willow is one of them, just a shot at random with the 24-105, as always the wind is your enemy.
There are many more I would like to shoot but just hope these strong winds die down a bit so I can shoot some more Spring blossom.

''Summers end will begin to cast its shadow by natures ways
by a seasons failing sun and the shortening of its days
autumn now by our universe and time will cool the air
and ready the trees their leafy coats that soon the earth will wear
their sap will soon be drawn to its roots among their place of birth
and autumn winds their veil of copper golds will begin their fall to the Earth
creatures all now feel it's change and must feed on autumns store
for ahead for them are hunger days when ice and snow are to the fore ''

Sign Language is a visual means of communicating using gestures, facial expression, and body language. Sign Language is used mainly by people who are Deaf or have hearing impairments.
Most Deaf people who use sign language in the UK use British Sign Language (BSL); like English, it has its own grammar, syntax and lexicons.
BSL has been around for centuries and was created by deaf people forming communities throughout the UK. The first official record of BSL was at a wedding ceremony at St. Martin's Church in Leicester, 1576.

A sign of the times, another closed down shop leaving deserted high streets as out of town shopping and internet shopping rips the heart out of traditional town centres.
