Regarded by many British birders as their number 1 target rare migrant they'd like to see in the UK. I'm lucky, I have already seen one in the UK and another in Netherlands before seeing this bird in Sweden

I wanted a under wing shot of this stonechat to help with its id and I got a very flat clear image showing grey underneath . This image was no good for I.D. but a much nicer photograph . It still shows how pale this bird is compared to the normal Stonechats ............................................................./////........................................................................UPDATE 24 /12/ 16 This bird was proven to be a Stejneger's Stonechat Dungeness NNR, Kent: The possible Siberian Stonechat present 8th November-5th December has been proven as stejnegeri on DNA evidence . NOTE it is now doubted that the DNA result was accurate bringing the the validity of this bird ID into doubt

šumska ruža, (rosa pendulina ) alpska ruža, šipak, je razgranjeni i rijetkim zavinutim bodljama obrasli grm koji može narasti do jedan metra i više, tanke se grane- šibe svijaju u luku, listovi su naizmjenični i neparno perasti, sastavljeni od 7-9 jajastih , dvostruko nazubljeni listića, cvijetovi ugodna mirisa veliki i lijepi sa pet crvenoružičastih latica, te koji su smješteni pojedinačno na krajevima grma, plodovi su jajasti i crveni i od ploda šipka pripremaju čajevi, marmelade, pekmezi, šipkovo vino, šipkov liker.
The springs of the River Simme, which gives the valley its name, is situated on the Rezliberg above Lenk, Switzerland, right at the foot of a mighty limestone wall. The Simme erupts here into a mass of white foam. In summer, up to 2'800 litres flow via the seven springs every second. The «Sibe Brünne», a magical waterfall, is a renowned source of power and a wonderful place to spend some time.

also Cattle Egret, Goldcrests, Treecreeper, GS Pecker, Sibe Chiff, A very confiding Cetti's Warbler and of course the Star, a Pallas's Warbler... all in the same area..

This photo was taken at the Xinjiang International Grand Bazaar (新疆国际大巴扎), Ürümqi, the capital of Xinjiang. Xinjiang, China's largest province-level division by area, is home to diverse ethnic groups, including Uyghurs and Han Chinese (the largest groups), as well as Chinese Tajiks (Pamiris), Hui, Kazakhs, Kyrgyz, Mongols, Russians, Sibe, and Tibetans.
The Silk Road traversed Xinjiang, which borders the Kashmir region, Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Russia, Mongolia, Gansu and Qinghai provinces, and the Tibet Autonomous Region.

The following are comments by far better birders than me Kent: this Stonechat :-Juvenile/1st winter `Siberian` type Stonechat ..... . That Grey Stonechat ........ Siberian Stonechat Kerton Rd.... KENT Siberian Stonechat,...... Sibe Stonechat Kerton ...... The pale Stonechat ..... All I can say for certain is I have never seen one like it . WHAT DO YOU THINK . It is at least a very nice looking bird !! .................................................................../////...............................................................UPDATE 24 /12/ 16 This bird was proven to be an incredibly rare Stejneger's Stonechat ..... Dungeness NNR, Kent: The possible Siberian Stonechat present 8th November-5th December has been proven as stejnegeri on DNA evidence (collected from droppings) LATER DISPROVEN after a second set of tests

Athena was so well behaved for me today she stayed for me at a good 10 metres away for aaaaages whilst I got some distance shots too. Given that it was a new loaction she wasn't used to I am so proud of her <3
~Siberian Husky~
My friends Siberian Husky.
The graceful, medium-sized Siberian Husky’s almond-shaped eyes can be either brown or blue—and sometimes one of each—and convey a keen but amiable and even mischievous expression. Quick and nimble-footed, Siberians are known for their powerful but seemingly effortless gait. Tipping the scales at no more than 60 pounds, they are noticeably smaller and lighter than their burly cousin, the Alaskan Malamute.
As born pack dogs, they enjoy family life and get on well with other dogs. The Sibe’s innate friendliness render them indifferent watch dogs. These are energetic dogs who can’t resist chasing small animals, so secure running room is a must. An attractive feature of the breed: Huskies are naturally clean, with little doggy odor.
Siberians are not usually barkers, although they’ll often howl, especially to a siren. They are adept escape artists and have been known to climb over and dig under some pretty serious fences. Neutering may lessen the sense of wanderlust, but don’t count on it: Siberians should be microchipped and have an ID tag on their collars at all times if you want to help ensure their safe return after an escape.
Although working Siberians often live happily in kennel situations because they get lots of exercise, relegating a Siberian to the backyard isn’t a great idea. He’ll easily become lonely and bored, and that means he’ll become destructive. Siberians are world-class diggers when they’re not jumping fences and wandering for miles.
Finally, if you are looking for a dog who focuses only on you or will protect your home, choose a different breed. Siberians do not grasp the concept of strangers and may instead greet all with enthusiasm. A Siberian does not a good watchdog make.

We went for a late walk just as the sun was going down, we came across this small field opening where the last rays of golden light were dissapearing over the tree line.
We paused for a moment to watch - well I was watching the sun set, Athena was probably watching rabbits...

Siberian Husky, a thickly coated, compact sled dog of medium size and great endurance, was developed to work in packs, pulling light loads at moderate speeds over vast frozen expanses. Sibes are friendly, fastidious, and dignified.

Siberian Chiffchaff at Keptie Pond, Arbroath. It may not be a 100% 'pure' Siberian from what I've read in a 'ringing guide'. Possibly an intergrade, though I'll leave that decision to experts.
