Hello my amazing Flickr friends !
Today we celebrate a green day at Color my World Daily. And in Montreal we have another cold winter day. Once again my schedule is completely hectic this week and my picture was inspired by this situation… Sometimes I just want to take everyone and everything important to me, put it in a space shuttle and go to another galaxy far far away for a family vacation (Cuba ??) ! Just like Madame Giraffe here : she is making sure that everything she needs is nicely packed before she goes on vacation…
But for now: I just need my coffee and I will be good.
See you later my friends !! I wish you an amazing day !!
Thank you so much for all your lovely comments / favs/ general support / happy thoughts!! Stay safe and well!! And see you soon on Flickr !!
Todays adventure took me to Shuttle House at Calver, walking along the banks of the Derwent River, came across a small clearing and stopped here for a while admiring the incredible view.
Queensland Rail units 2415 and 2410 arrive into Toowoomba after a shuttle to Spring Bluff as part of the Carnival Of Flowers 2021.
Afternoon light catching bare tree branches at the Temple of Sinawava, shuttle stop #9 on the Zion National Park loop. I visited on a whim on the return leg of a road trip and it ended up being one of the most satisfying vacation days of my life, thanks to fresh eyes, Fall light, and mild temperature.

On occasion the Ute Shuttle would load on the Energy Spur. This would require a long back up move as there was not a wye at Adams Junction. From Ute on the Ute Spur which itself branched of the Axial Spur they could proceed eastward past the switch for the Energy Spur then back down to Energy. Leaving they would move forward and move through the switch at Adams Junction then have to back up all the way to Ute. You can see the train is moving backwards in this image as the train passes a pond west of Hayden, 9.99

A symbol of Helmond's industrial heritage, the flying shuttle was invented by the Englishman John Kay in 1733. Here in this unique photo are two of his direct descendants. This replica of the shuttle (schietspoel) stands next to the Zuid Willemsvaart canal in Helmond centre, in front of Raymakers textile factory.
Earth’s atmosphere has five layers between the surface of the planet and space. In this image of the Shuttle Endeavor approaching ISS in 2010 we can see the Troposphere (Orange), the Statosphere (White), and the Mesosphere (Blue) from the light of the sun. The next two layers out are the Thermosphere and Exosphere. The Thermosphere is the atmospheric layer in which ISS orbits and the Exosphere is the beginning of true deep space. #funfactfriday #planetsarelikeonions #theyhavelayers

The Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center near Washington Dulles International Airport is the companion facility to the Museum on the National Mall. The building opened in December, 2003, and provides enough space for the Smithsonian to display the thousands of aviation and space artifacts that cannot be exhibited at the Museum in Washington, DC. The two sites together showcase the largest collection of aviation and space artifacts in the world.
