Shutterbug

Today Meredith and Co. got together with myself and Jenny for some collaborative photography. Meredith's idea was to us both photograph the other while taking our nature photographs, and I suggested we go down to the botanical gardens. I liked this one the best of them, partly because you can see a bit of her expression and partly because of the cool reflection being made in her lens. 1/400sec@f/4.5 ISO 200 FL:70mm

Prickly

We also decided to post both the photos of each other and a regular nature shot. I shot this one in the cactus hothouse and used Meredith's borrowed Lightsphere to get the nice even illumination. I liked the how the shallow depth of field interacts with the repetitive shapes of the spines. 1/60sec@f/2.8 ISO FL:35mm

On my Garage Photoshoot with my photo group called the Ottawa Shutterbugs, I had the chance to photograph this great looking model, some on my Triumph motorcycle.

Centrepiece that was on our table at a friends' wedding.

David didn't notice the downsizing until he grabbed 2 different cans

the other day. My own can of Aloha Maid was 11.5 oz./ 340ml of

uncarbonated cane sugar goodness, instead of a full twelve ounces. Grrr.
