All of the shutterbugs miss all the other action as they train their long lenses on the canons because everyone wants to catch a load of grapeshot in mid-air. Well, let me tell you, this is pretty close! Just not close enough!

Going up the Singapore Flyer for Jimmy's birthday! March 30, 2008

This was the very first time I enlarged my photographs and printed them for non-scrapbooking purposes. Believe it or not, I was a bit scared to do it and had to finally just dive in. I enlarged two of them to 8x12s and the rest to 5x7. For the First Friday gallery show, I plan on attempting to enlarge my Jerome staircase to 11x14, 2 8x12s, and the rest will stay at 5x7. At this point, I am thinking of even paying to get another 24"x48" spot. I also mounted (the 5x7s are on foam core) and matted my own photographs, which was another thing I was completely nervous about doing. But it was super easy and now I have it under my belt.
