Going up the Singapore Flyer for Jimmy's birthday! March 30, 2008

This was the very first time I enlarged my photographs and printed them for non-scrapbooking purposes. Believe it or not, I was a bit scared to do it and had to finally just dive in. I enlarged two of them to 8x12s and the rest to 5x7. For the First Friday gallery show, I plan on attempting to enlarge my Jerome staircase to 11x14, 2 8x12s, and the rest will stay at 5x7. At this point, I am thinking of even paying to get another 24"x48" spot. I also mounted (the 5x7s are on foam core) and matted my own photographs, which was another thing I was completely nervous about doing. But it was super easy and now I have it under my belt.

Trying to take pictures of Pam is really tough, she's an amazing photog herself, but rarely poses :)

Goan Shutterbugs' Nature Photo Walk

outside Fatorda Stadium, Margao 13th Sept 09

Just a small portion of my collection of ladybugs that have been given to me. I believe ladybugs are one of the most special tiny creatures God ever made. Whenever, winter included, I am feeling distant a ladybug will come out of nowhere and land on me, on my car, etc. GOD knows when I need to know HE is with me, that's when HE sends me a ladybug.

My ceiling and walls, are what I see when looking up from my couch. Can anyone tell me what the spots are? No, they are only there in the picture.

For me summer means the height of the gardening season, when you start to see results for all that patience and hard work! This is actually a freebie wildflower growing along the edge of the treeline.

A collection of colorful photos taken during my visit to Chinatown NY few weeks back. There was a big parade which I missed due to the crowd. But I sure met some great people and of course tried my best to capture the spirit of the New Year.
