Still have poinsettias blooming, and their deep-red leaves provide some needed color this time of year!
An interesting note is that there are at least 3 different spellings for this river, depending upon where you live: Hoosac in MA, Hoosic in VT and Hoosick in NY. I chose the first of the 3, having been raised in the Berkshire MTs of MA and actually gone to "Hoosac Street" elementary school. Another unusual fact is that this river flows north... hence the expression in my family to "go down North".

Terma Linca resort in Thimpu is definitely a place, where you want to just sit on their luxurious couches, sipping coffee, looking out to the river, listening to music and certainly taking a few photographs! Thats the shutterbug life of mine !
