Cake for bride's party at minimarket. Well, they had to put it somewhere cool. The "flowers" are tiny cupcakes decorated with icing and stuck on a styrofoam base. I photographed and produced a video of this party and I loved this shot of the cake stuck between the frozen pizza and corn kernels.

I developed a renewed interest in doll collecting as a result of my passion for photography and involvement in Flickr and Shutterbugs. My "simple pleasures" come from browsing online and at flea markets and thrift shops for clothes and accessories for the dolls. When the packages arrive by mail, it's like Christmas all year long, especially when a new doll joins the family.

The black objects by his green math matriculation exam (bagrut) book are his tefillin, which he wears for morning prayers every day except Shabbat. The background is his Magen David Adom shirt. He loves the Harry Potter series and re-reads them constantly in English (no small achievement for a boy who has lived all his life in Israel). He's a great kid. We're very proud of him!
