An early winter swell brought huge waves and pounding surf to Maui's north shore. It was mostly unrideable close-out surf, but it was amazing to watch (and hear) from shore. I shot this at Ho'okipa Beach Park, dropping down off a reef ledge to get a water level view.

Flags are naturally political. By posting this, I'm not trying to make a statement.
I've observed this flag on a tattered old house by a busy highway. It's been decaying visibly for several years. Today, I finally found a place to park, squatted on a hill on the opposite side of the road, and aimed between power lines as drivers stared.
I'm glad I took the time to do this before we move out of the area . . . or the shreds fall.
I would think this is a type of 'Daisy'.. 'Leucanthemum'.. maybe.. busy will catch up soon

A set of four hand painted skaters tearing up the bathroom sink.
Shot on a Mint Camera SLR670 with an LED lamp providing a little extra light. I learned that this particular camera shoots a little dark, so all the light you can give it helps.

I had this idea fairly quickly but then found that Shredded Wheat is obviously not as popular a breakfast cereal as it was and now is only available in great big boxes - that's breakfast sorted for quite a while!
