When I was maneuvering about in front of a water falls, many possibilities for something different came to mind. This angle combined two elements, that had me thinking of a brilliant yellow shower curtain. The water was cascading down the mountain, which in turn added to the narrative.
Near Sargeant Bay, this water falls runs heavily only after a great deal of rain. And, since we have had a sufficient amount of precipitation lately, it completed the image. It also runs from the top left, exiting to the bottom right, contributing to the needed balance and flow within the story.

Happy Caturday from one of Louis' favourite hideouts - perched on the edge of the bathtub, between the shower curtain and liner. Maybe he thinks he can catch the goldfish? Or maybe he just likes to frighten the life out of me at night when I go in the bathroom and see his shadowy outline quietly lurking between the shower curtains. ;-)

Lately I find myself taking pictures of odd stuff. I have basically been studying light and how and how it enhances a subject. I figure that since I am not going to be taking pictures of the mountains in Patagonia or the Alps any time soon, I do the best that I can to take pictures of everyday things and / or items that we neglect on a daily basis and make them come to life in images.
On August 12, 2015 the Persoid Meteor shower was at its peak in 8 years. I managed to capture this exciting image of a shooting star going towards the Milky Way at Price Lake. The light painting was done with an incandescent mag light.

Before he went his parents revealed there was no such person as Father Christmas aka as Santa Claus...His dad told me he was fine about that but then with a look of hope in his eyes asked "Elf on the shelf ? " Nope was the answer so that was that. He is a very bright child who would have known really but that little bit of ' but what if ' was extinguished...wouldn't have hurt to have played along a bit because his life is very ordered and he has everything and I mean everything. The only thing he could think of for having for Christmas is Robux..I remember getting my first watch aged eleven for Christmas and loved it so much I looked at it with its scarlet strap and a picture of Cinderella on the dial about a thousand times. Then my best friend called round with her watch on, with its tiny gold rimmed face and narrow black strap...................that's life :)
Our dear handsome boy, Louis, just loves hanging out in the bathroom, "hidden" between the shower curtain and the liner. Hard to tell if he's simply staring at the goldfish (he's not the smartest cat after all) or does he just like to freak me out when I go the bathroom, unaware he's lurking there? Either way, Happy Caturday! :-)

I've been told not to try to bring firearms through customs. However I will be pointing and shooting. So watch out.
Checkers and I have this little ritual going on. Who can get to the bathroom vanity chair first. It's about 50/50 but if I get there first the big bugger will jump into my lap and make me leave my chair. But then I get out the big guns, I get my hair dryer (which is loud) and he will leave until I am done).
