At Southeast High School, Raleigh, NC. The boys from Syracuse, Rochester, Buffalo, etc., were hot -- winning their first two games 6-0 and 3-0. Being conditioned to the cold likely was a big help when playing in temperatures in the upper 30s against teams from Carolina and Virginia. The Empire United team lost its semi-final game against a team from Herndon, VA -- on a penalty kick 1-0.

Fresh from the Emerson College Archives: here are three out of the five exercises in the “bending exercises” regiment from Charles Wesley Emerson’s Physical Culture textbook. Emerson students used to do regular exercises to prepare themselves for their oratory recitals. Be sure to read up on the "hygienic effect" of these workouts in the lower right hand paragraph. Perhaps these moves will ease your pain after a long night of studying!

Showcase Cinemas Westland - Demolition
Westland, Michigan
February 24, 2011
This theater is being demolished and replaced by a new theater building on the same property. That front glass was covered with wood for several years.
My greatest memory of this theater is calling in sick; along with my wife, when my one year old daughter was sick and we went to see 'Cars' for the first time - 6/13/06 at 1:00pm according to the ticket in her baby book.

Check out my photostream for the most comprehensive set of demo photos posted online (I assume). Shortly after, I shot a few hundred Quo Vadis demo shots.
