A Cell looking frozen methane bubbles on a semi frozen lake. Abraham Lake in Canadian Rockies known for its ice bubbles due to the lake freezing and methane gas release from the lake bed. At this spot called, The Belly, we were standing on ice maybe 10 inch thick (?) but we couldn't see the bottom of the lake. We could still see the water flowing below and walked precariously on snow covered ice. As we walked around once in a while you hear sounds of ice cracking in a distance, last year I googled it and apparently it's normal to hear cracking sound of ice during changing conditions. Still feels kind of creepy if u ask me. :p #shotoniphone6

Tomas Sinicki
Back in October I had the pleasure of shooting a gig in Vilnius, Lithuania. Tomas Sinicki is a super-talented musician who sings in English and Lithuanian. His music is eclectic, ranging from in-your-face punk music to the sweetest and slowest of acoustic ballads. Listen to this - goo.gl/1erqhq
I shot the gig with the iPhone and Olloclip telephoto lens, Fuji X100T and the Nikon D7000. It was challenging to work with the changing light conditions, but I really enjoyed it.
Will be posting more from the gig over the coming weeks. Stay tuned.
Perspective and story. Two key elements of an image. I recently led a Photowalk at the public library in downtown Seattle. I've been to this space a dozen times as a photogorapher and look for something new, each time.
The building is one of the more unique in the city, with awesome lines and colours. As well plenty of space to work and access to computers.
On the 9th floor you have views that go all the way to the first floor, which can mess with you a bit if you don't care for heights.
As we were exploring that floor, I looked over the edge and saw individuals at work. Placing my phone along the railing you see part of the railing as it leads down... Leading your eyes towards the main subject.
When you're exploring the world, your city or neighbourhood, always seek out new perspectives.
