Shortcut keys: I find them the most useful thing ever. I don't know that many. But with the ones I know, I use them a lot.
The usual copy and paste shortcut keys; the shift button when highlighting one or more objects/pictures; the ctrl button plus scrolling in or out just to zoom in/out or increase/decrease font size on page. The alt button in photoshop! There are countless shortcut keys that make life so easy in photoshop...!
Wouldn't life be so much more easier if you could just have buttons to press "ctrl+z", to undo the previous thing you did in real life? To erase that bad mistake you did, or that bad choice you made etc....? I always think about this. Is this normal??
Anyway. I went to see the film "Untraceable" at the cinema tonight. I can't remember the last time I watched a really gripping film. It certainly got me on the edge of my seat. Basically there's this website where a killer has victims, and films it, so it's streaming live on the website. The whole system works on hits on the website, and the more people who visit the site, the faster the victim dies, works out through a counter counting the hits. So good. Gory, but good. The plot is so brilliant on so many levels. I think it's so well thought out. But it'd be awful if it actually existed though in real life. Such a twisted plot. My type of film :)
So here's a tribute to the shortcut keys and the film (whereby there's a LOT of shortcut keys that even I don't know about...! So advanced!) But it goes to show that things that happen online are just as crazy as life offline. Which can leap in to a whole ethical debate about life/death in reality and virtuality. Madness.
Go check out the film my online friends!
Despite saying Windows 3.1, these shortcut keys haven't changed much. Matter-of-fact, most still work in all versions of Windows since 3.1.
Thanks to Larry Tesler he made our life easier, Tesler is a computer scientist who works in the field of human-computer interaction, and thanks to him he invented the Copy and Paste that we are using until now.
Всем трём кнопкам соответствует одна и та же горячая клавиша (F). При её нажатии команды сменяют друг друга циклически.
В пользу циклических горячих клавиш говорят следующие факторы:
– родственность команд;
– большая вероятность возврата к предыдущей команде;
– простота сочетания клавиш.
Циклические горячие клавиши полезны тем, что не утруждают пользователя запоминанием хоткеев для каждой команды из группы: достаточно лишь усвоить, что команде «вроде такой» соответствует такая-то клавиша.
