While shooting with models, I like to see them as actresses rather than models- their acting skills are more ''valuable'' for me.

During the shootings we try to create small stories and try to build the shooting on that story concept. Usually I explain the concept & story and leave the acting to the model; I like her to add her own personality/skills/style into it, rather than directing her for each pose.

With doing so, she gets more involved both in the story and the concept. That creates a mutual work.

Last spring we spent a weekend in the Carrizo Plain in central California to witness the superbloom. We also planned several photo shoots with model Chantal. Here she is walking at the top of a mountain at sunset.

I processed a balanced, a photographic and a paintery HDR photo from a RAW exposure, blended them selectively, carefully adjusted color balance and curves, and desaturated the image. I welcome and appreciate constructive feedback.

A year ago we spent a weekend at the Carrizo Plain in central California to witness the superbloom. We also planned several photo shoots with model Chantal. Here she is walking in a field with yellow flowers.

The title is a quote by a famous painter. Guess who?

I processed a photographic and a balanced HDR photo from a RAW exposure, blended them, and carefully adjusted the color balance and curves, and added a Silver Efex Pro 2 filter for this classic look. I welcome and appreciate constructive comments.
