I did like the face emotion, hair and dress position here, but i was stuck with the fan covering her feet. So good old Photoshop to take the feet from another photo from same session, then add the vent on the ground ;-)
I did shooth this session with a ring flas mount with a 30 inch moon unit. Powered with a Vagabond power pack. Yep we did stop traffic a lot. Very fun shooting...
Model is Elisabeth as you know now.
Nikon's first compact zoom camera. Not that ugly and the design has stood the test of time rather well, since this is 1988. Of course, you get the usual 35/70 (not the 38 something,, ouf!) and a rather nice set of features for such an ordinary and old camera.
You can choose the continuous or single shoothing, 2 timer settings, flash modes, unfortunately the camera immediately defaults to auto flash the instant it has taken the pic with your flash mode. Now, for the nice things, you can choose the zoom to be stepless or non stepless, it is cool, as it allows for a more precise framing. Speaking of framing, you a have a special framing mode. You select the mode like close up, protrait, groups and the camera will zoom automaticaly to frame your subject. Very nice and pretty sophisticated for 1988, although I am in no condition to say that it works!
Now, that might not look like much to most astrophotographers, but bear in mind I'm only shoothing through a 120-300mm lens with a 2x teleconverter ! My effective/measured focal length is 570mm here, and Saturn is only 18 to 20 pixels wide on my sensor. And honestly I'm blown away I can resolve it so well with such a limited setup ! :-)
Stack of 10 shots, each being 1/60 at F7.1 and 800ISO. The 400% resize was done using a Lanczos, hence the "smooth look" rather than the pixellated one, expected for such a resize.
Can't remember if I had done the focusing on the Moon using the AF, or manually on Alpha Crux.
I've shot a few longer exposures (1/2 second) and I can see Titan and Rhea, but couldn't be bothered combining the 2 stacks to show both the planet, rings and satellites. :-P

As in my latex space ship moving at 100 times faster then light speed I found the planet from the movie AVATAR and yes I made it mine and made Iit all shiny shooth latex. I love how the plants here all glow glowing latex :)

Last day of the holidays and I have 1000 things to do, but insted I took of to the local beach with the rest of the population in Denmark. The beach was crowded and I could'nt find a parking space and nobody seemed to care that I needed some alone time. But I did manage to get some nice shooths.
I was at Crayola Crayon factory Easton, Pa. I was shoothing at this water fountain and just happened this homeless guy sitting there and blocking my shot :(
I asked him nicely, if he can move away and so he did. After I finished shooting this fountain(soon you you'll see). I ask Camel Joe, if he interesting to do a portrait shot? He nodded with a smile, so I went and took like 3 to 5 shots of him.
So, why I called him Camel Joe?? Just look at his throat :( I wonder how long has he been smoking? So, I assumed he has cancer and did some on going process treament :( As I walked away, I feel soo sad, I wanted give him some money, but wife and kids was calling me and I have too run.. So, Camel Joe, I dont know if I ever going see again, if I do return to this place again, I make you print for you.
