These are the carvings on the exterior walls of the Shiv Temple at Shinde Chhatri, Pune. Isn't it a big wonder that from an era of unsophisticated tools like a hammer and a chisel we have such marvels that have stood the rain, sun and storms, and smile beautifully at the generations to come...

Gulmarg was originally named as Gaurimarg, the fair one, by the shepherds to honour the Hindu goddess Parvati, is a town, a hill station, in Baramulla district in the Jammu and Kashmir state. It is situated in the Pir Panjal range in the western the Himalayas and is within the Lie of Control between India and Pakistan.
