Today I will wear my second new shirt for my long afternoon shift. Satin shirts are not my favourite, but I do like how this one looks in the various combinations I tried. Eventually I will try this with neckwear - especially my bows - but for now I have only taken photos with it buttoned up. I know many of you prefer these sorts of shirts without neckwear but I will try it with a few different styles. I like the pink colour and I look and feel very feminine when wearing it with this long black skirt. This is my first collar with a double button.

I have not worn pants or no neckwear in quite awhile, so today I will wear both. I will have a very busy day today with a coffee meeting in the morning with a friend, followed by lunch with my family. I will work in the afternoon until quite late, so a change in my regular style will keep me focused and productive.
update: if you want to know how to make this shirt, good news! the pattern is included in my forthcoming book, Crochet Adorned. yay.

Camera left was set up to achieve correct exposure at F11, 1/125s and ISO100/
Camera right was set to low power to lighten the shadows
Trigger was a Prolinca IR device on the hotshoe.
I bought this shirt last June in NYC and I thought I had lost it when I came home, but I found it today as I was cleaning out my wardrobe, hooray!
It always makes me giggle when I wear it.
DT Frankie got a new look. After the reveal of PD Frankie, I really wanted one with bangs but I'm not a fan of dark lips on her, so DT Frankie here got the treatment.
Still wet and needs touching up, but I love it!

less than one month away!! go on, go shopping, the stores are full of possibilities :) candy, flowers, knick-knacks, stuffed animals, cards, t-shirts, socks, gift certificates, heart shaped things of all kinds of varieties.
After drying, cover stencil with a dishtowel and iron to set. The remove the freezer paper to reveal the finished product.
Just a running a concept to get some feedback. Going to be selling stuff like this in the near future.
