Saturday challenge - Shiny & Macro.
Was trickier than I thought, mainly because of the dust on the bell, and reflections, quite weird, including a sort of fisheye effect, which shows the untidy kitchen, and a bonus (unflattering) selfie :-)

Laguna Beach, California -- A bank building with a gold face. Laguna Beach embodies the "good life" of coastal southern California.
Abstract blue bubbly vision inside a film frame. Produced specifically for Smile on Saturday group's theme "Multicolour bubble bokeh". The original wide screen photo is here: www.flickr.com/photos/krisolin/51163665509/in/dateposted-...
This shot was taken by placing my camera with ultra-wide lens on the floor at the top of the escalator, holding the strap so I could lift it out of the way, and triggering a burst of shots with the cable remote as the couple neared the top. They responded favourably, playing to the camera and this was the best of the shots taken.

October 20, 2015 - Day 293 - 365 Day Challenge
There is a small shop called The World Cycles on an obscure Vancouver street that refurbishes old Schwinn bicycles...and returns them to their former glory.....as electric motorbikes.
The venue I was in for the launch of the Edinburgh Women's Fiction Festival the other evening (see previous set of pics) was in an old bank building, now McClarens on the Corner, a bar and restaurant. This very shiny steel safe was still mounted on a wall in the room we were in, so of course I had to grab a quick pic!
A view down the line at Didcot Railway Centre. Recent rain gave a glossy reflection of the locomotive in the distance on the shiny steel rail.
Timeline Event and we had the who railway yard to ourselves. Smoke machines and constant lights were the order of the day both inside and out of the main railway shed.

Thank you for your visit, favs and comments.
It's very much appreciated!
Another shot of last weekend's high river level on the River Exe at Exeter with the sun shining off the cascade of water overflowing into the flood alleviation channel.
This shiny trailer used for promotion was attracting customers on the way home from work in London. Please drink responsibly, as they say.
Lynx
Optare Tempo
29 - T29KLN
Seen on route 33 at Hunstanton Bus Station.
Travelling up to the land of the excellent operator Lynx again, my target was recently refurbished Tempo number 29. Unlike the other Tempos in the fleet, this one's had a complete makeover externally and internally, featuring the same flowing red moquette and faux wood flooring as on the new Enviro400s. Externally, white Hanover displays have been fitted, as well as shiny alloy wheels and trims.
All-in-all, a very smart bus, one which puts far newer vehicles with other operators to shame.
For Macro Monday's theme 'Glaze'. The shiny glaze on part of a small pottery model of Sidestrand church, North Norfolk. The original Saint Michael's church was built in 1396. Due to coastal erosion was demolished, (except the tower) in 1880, and using the recovered material was rebuilt further inland in 1881. The old tower finally fell to the sea in 1916.
To celebrate the 100 years of the new church, pottery models were made in 1981.
My mum, and seven of her siblings were christened here.
PS. My lens is ok, the tower is crooked ;-))
