This was one of my uploads for a Facebook challenge last week and I had planned on sharing it here as well. Guess, I got sidetracked as that didn't happen.
Anyhow, I took this shot on our first morning at Lake Traunsee. We stopped at a rest stop just before the village of Traunkirchen and were walking along the road looking for openings in the tall hedges and fences to get a view of the lake, mountains, boats and the village. Just as I found one the sun briefly broke through the clouds.

Envy in some fun lighting gave me a good bit of editing practice with shiny backgrounds. I love playing with crazy lighting, maybe a little too much.

This is a view on my way back down from Blencathra last Friday, the cloud had come back down to shroud the top of the mountain I was walking in. After about 45 minutes I eventually I got below the cloud line and was greeted with this view, in the distance you can see the end of Derwent water.

Sunset light shines on the waterpocket fold of mountains and cliffs that are Capitol Reef National Park, April 27, 2023. My Sunset Point position gave me a good opportunity for some wider shots on this cold, but beautiful night in Capitol Reef.

I think that nothing is impossible when you want to fulfill a dream. A lot of people will tell you that you can't do it, that you don't have what it takes, but if it is in your heart and you feel it, there is nothing that will stop you. It is like the sun - you can't block it: it will shine regardless, if that is what you want.
