Child Bō Shibari Dancer from the Shijō Kasa Hoko by Rekishi no Tabi

The Shijō Kasa Hoko float from the Gion Matsuri features children dancers, two of whom wear fierce looking "bear" wigs and wield poles to strike down evil. The kids put on on quite a show for Yoi-Yoiyama, two nights before the big festival parade.
