While visiting the beautiful state of Virginia we took a day hike through the beautiful Shenandoah National Park. A beautiful misty haze provided for a really nice atmosphere. If you've never been I recommend a visit it's gorgeous!

A softly hazy evening in early spring at Shenandoah National Park, Virginia.

I'm always wishing for more fog here in Denver because it adds a different dimension to your photo's. I guess it helps add depth and atmosphere. We were given an extra dose while in Virginia the sunshine was a rare commodity.I got what I was wishing for and then some.

Found this old truck in Shenandoah, IA. next to the old train depot which is now a mini brewery and restaurant.

Don't know the age of the truck or history - but has Budweiser beer logos and its number is 00.

Shenandoah National Park extends along the Blue Ridge Mountains in the U.S. state of Virginia. The Skyline Drive runs its length, and a vast network of trails includes a section of the long-distance Appalachian Trail. Mostly forested, the park features wetlands, waterfalls and rocky peaks like Hawksbill and Old Rag mountains.
