This shot probably would have been better if the shells weren't so dirty. Because they are so small and delicate, it's hard to get them clean without damaging or losing one or two. I tried the Photoshop healing brush, but there's just too much to "clean". I decided that natural was better, in this case.

I was in Florida briefly over the weekend -- not too many photo opportunities (time constraints), but I did manage to wander down an isolated beach.
These shells were tiny -- the sand grains give a sense of scale -- and each one was perfectly formed.

This location opened in fall 2000, replacing an older 1960s-built Shell/Miller Mart #66 that sat on the same site (known as "Bayberry Shell").

Restormel Castle lies by the River Fowey near Lostwithiel in Cornwall, England, UK. It is one of the four chief Norman castles of Cornwall, the others being Launceston, Tintagel and Trematon. The castle is notable for its perfectly circular design. Once a luxurious residence of the Earl of Cornwall, the castle was all but ruined by the 16th century. It was briefly reoccupied and fought over during the English Civil War, but was subsequently abandoned. It is now in the care of English Heritage and open to the public
It is an unusually well-preserved example of a circular shell keep, a rare type of fortification built during a short period in the 12th and early 13th centuries

10" 2 layer round and 6" 2 layer square Chocolate Lovers cake with chocolate filling and poured fudge frosting
Blue buttercream waves on top with fondant dolphins and various sized chocolate shells around sides of cake attached with royal icing. The clam and four shells on top are hand sculpted out of fondant. The coral is hand piped out of royal icing, there is luster dust on the fondant pieces.
Brighton beach is made up of pebbles and shells. Not easy walking in flip flops I can tell you!

Pricey gasoline and diesel at this new Shell station in Regina. Good thing the station's not open yet! It does make me wonder why they didn't enter 888.8 in to test the complete LED display.
