Still not a lot out at Shell Creek, basically goldfields with filaree, tiny lupines,cryptantha. And a few Blue Eyes!
A brief hiatus from the kind of architecture I usually post. The sunset last night was unusual for our part of Germany and my outing with the dog turned out to take a little bit longer than planned. But the light changed so dramatically over the course of 45 minutes, every time I decided enough was enough, I had to try another exposure and another.......
Be patient with me, I may have to post more than one.
This is actually a mussel shell. Strobist info: Single SB600 on half power fired directly up at a white ceiling from adjacent to the shell, triggered by eBay remote. Nikon D50, ISO 200, 1/200th, Sigma 105mm EX DG macro @ f3.2.
Shells on green cartridge paper. I put a coloured piece of plastic in front of a torch to get the warm hues.

Shell Creek Road is famous in this county for its display of flowers in the spring. This year is no exception, but it is probably a little early for the best show (yet to come).

After eating clams we take the shells to the driveway and stomp away, making the driveway a beautiful white.
Shell maakte half januari 2012 bekend dat er vanaf 1 april 2012 (1 april?) geen spaarzegeltjes meer verstrekt worden bij de aankoop van autobrandstof, alleen maar Air Miles. Shell begon met het verstrekken van zegeltjes in 1983. In 2008 ondernamen de Engelse olieboeren met het hoofdkantoor in Den Haag al een poging de zegelcultuur de nek om te draaien, maar de klanten pikten het niet en het plan verdween in de versnipperaar. Nu lokt Shell de klanten met extra Air Miles.
Vliegmijlen, het is het net niet.

Folded using Sara Adam's instructive tutorial. (which is redundant, I know, but it felt good typing it.) I'm very fond of this design, as it rather reminds me of a type of ancient Greek helmet.
