On Sunday 6th of June I took part in a photo challenge organised by the Sheffield Film Collective. Each participant brought their own 35mm camera and was issued with a 36 exposure colour negative film, we then had 90 minutes to shoot the whole roll on the theme of "The Frame Within the Frame". I used a Minolta Dynax 5, this one was taken through a homemade multicoloured filter.

The concourse refurbished in 2018 provides a safe way under the A57 linking the Students Union and the Alfred Denny Complex at Sheffield University. The lights change colour every few seconds. Well worth checking out!
The Sheffield University Arts Tower from Netherthorpe road. I had gone to shoot the tower from a different location and had packed up and drove round the block and came upon the front of the building covered in light and a really nice sunset in the background
after more than 100 years the Henderson's Relish factory moved to a new site in 2013. The small building is now owned by Sheffield University who plan to restore it as part of their campus
