It is great to spend sometime doing things that I wanted. I was extremely busy with my friend's family photo so I have to get some time on my own.
I went to North Vancouver for some cityscape shots. I always wanted to get a panoramic shot of Downtown Vancouver; every time I came here, I was unprepared. This time, I got all the gears with me. I took my XF50-140mm and my H&Y Filters (Pure Night). This Pure Night filter is an awesome filter for city night photo as it will eliminate any light pollution caused by the building.

Sorry if I could not get to those who stop by regularly. I have many things to do today. One is a wake for my friend that was murdered recently. It appears many will be going to commemorate his life.
This is very close to my home and I also did not have time to correct the white balance or anything else to the shot.

The amazing view from Lower Lonsdale as the full moon set this morning. Moonlight sparkled on the harbour as sounds of seagulls filled the air. Looking over Spirit Trail, across Vancouver Harbour to Coal Harbour to Canada Place and Vancouver Convention Centre with Burrard Street in between. Wednesday night's moon rise over Vancouver. This is the Waning Gibbous of the Super Snow Full Moon at 98% illumination. I was surprised at the size of this monster as it peeked out from behind Blanchard Peak in the Golden Ears Provincial Park. Looking across English Bay at English Bay Beach and the West End of Vancouver. From where I stood, the Shaw Tower was 7.5km (4.7 miles) away from me. The peak was 53km (33 miles) away. Captured with a telephoto lens from Spanish Banks Far West in Point Grey, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada ~ February 20, 2019 🌚
This is a single shot photo with only the brightness of the moon reduced to show clarity and how it looked to the naked eye in real life. If you zoom into the moon, you can see the glow appears to have some distinct lines that looks like it has been smudged in Photoshop. This is how my camera picked up the image and I chose to leave this unaltered.
I was late getting to this location and ran across the grass field to the shoreline to find the moon seconds away from popping up. I frantically set up my tripod and it started to appear leaving me no time to focus properly so I relied on automatic focus. It was a great show even though I was a bit disappointed the sky was cloudy the previous night for the full moon at 100% illumination. I was very disappointed when I returned to my vehicle to find that someone hadn't picked up their dog's waste on the field and I had stepped in it. :(

The shattered art piece is a new addition to the Biennale display around the city.
The motorcycle made me think of Batman.
One of thousands of shots from this vantage point, but I was there and had my camera and just couldn't resist.
I am heading to Squamish with Pierre and Sachiya to see our friend, Joy. All are flickr friends.

I have not been feeling very well the last few days with all the stress and stuff going on in my life.

The raccoons in Stanley Park are city slickin raccoons. They will walk right up to you, and look at you like.... What are you looking at.... huh?? Too bad he didn't stay still, but you get the idea.
I've posted lots of views from my desk but this is a look back at Shaw Tower. My desk is on the 8th floor near the center of the building on this elevation, right under the deck on the right side.
An oldie, but a goodie shot of the Vancouver skyline! :)

At the moment I took this shot, I had been walking around Downtown Vancouver for about 10 hours taking photos. I was literally hobbling along the Stanley Park Seawall hoping for something good. This was the scene when I got there. It definitely made the strenuous journey all worth it. =D
