this is Shawna, stranger #5 in my 100 strangers attempt (which I will successfully complete around the time I turn 80 years old judging by how long it has taken to get this far).
A couple of weeks ago while we were at the balloon festival my fourteen year old, Dylan, and i were waiting for his little brother to finish playing inside the grounded balloon back there. Shawna approached us and asked if I would do a survey. I turned to Dylan and said, 'Now don't be fooled by this, Dylan. What Shawna is actually doing is using the survey as ruse to talk with the best looking guys here at the festival.' Shawna immediately confessed that it was true so naturally I agreed to take the survey.
Shawna was cute and bubbly, the kind of person who usually gets on my nerves but she was nice and had a great smile so it was good to meet her (and I got my #5! woot!).
(Taken by Tara Hughes. Edit by me) This shoot was crazy and so fun and it felt awesome to take pictures with someone that you're incredibly comfortable with. And that also leads to a better photo outcome. I hope you enjoy looking at this crazy murder madness as much as we did shooting them!

Hello, still here. Pretty much laying low. Even though we both have had out shots we seem to have fallen into the Covid trap. Stay home. Don't go out.
But I did manage to have lunch with Shawna. Lovely day. Perfect weather. Nice company.
I hope everyone is staying safe and healthy. This will soon be over.
