The white-rumped shama (Copsychus malabaricus) is a small passerine bird of the family Muscicapidae. Native to densely vegetated habitats in the Indian subcontinent and Southeast Asia, its popularity as a cage-bird and songster has led to it being introduced elsewhere.

Eternal Bliss of the Bronze Funk Madonna with Suicide Boobs.
Sangeeta Sharma is a sculptor from Delhi in India. Her work in bronze is contemporary realistic. Her piece called Eternal Bliss is about 29"x14"x16"and has the finely sculpted figure of a woman with upturned hands almost straight up and sideways with the neck thrown back and the face upturned.
Is that Eternal Bliss?
You decide.
This was shot on location at the Lalit Kala Akademy in Goa which is the premier repository of all things cultural in India. I needed some inputs on the sculpture of Narendar Singh featured in the immediately preceding photograph.
It is a hand held shot with a single harsh overhead light and ambient lighting otherwise.
You can easily have your Eternal Bliss for USD 7000 ( Indian Rupees 3.50 Lakhs)
