This is the aftermath of certainty.
Bodies rest not from exhaustion, but from satisfaction—the kind that comes when nothing remains unsaid. They occupy the space with an easy authority, as if the room itself adjusted to accommodate them. Attention here is not chased; it has already arrived and chosen to stay.
The composition speaks in layers: confidence stretched long, intimacy worn casually, presence relaxed into its own truth. No one hides. No one performs. They simply are, unbothered by the weight of the gaze or the passage of time.
There is ownership in the way they linger.
Comfort in the way they remain.
This is intimacy that has outgrown doubt.
A center that does not ask if it belongs—
because it already knows.

Closed to create what in Coventry Council propaganda speak is "a shared space". Read that as more paving slabs and concrete with buses trying to mow down pedestrians.

The Baldwin Street Cycle Track was still in the midst of wider changes to Baldwin Street but I was surprised to see that most of those cycling chose to use the main carriageway, perhaps unaware that they could have gone from Bristol Bridge to Telephone Street on the more-or-less completed separated track. That said, by December 3rd 2014, the full length of the track was only about 200 metres. Continuation to and across The Centre would make it much more useful.

This is the little shelter that we stopped at on our snow shoeing trip. We all "shared" the "space" and had lunch.
A morning at the yard taking jumping photos for my daughter who wants to try and sell her project horse.
I thought the theme 'shared space' was very apt for a horse and rider. The horse and rider need to be in sync to be successful.
It was a beautifully sunny day - and I struggled with the light at points. I was using the 70--200 which presented it's own challenges - even though the arena is quite large. I was trying to push myself to use manual - but I'm not fast enough to make changes to allow for the changing light as they move round the arena.
I can say I'm very glad that I don't have to use film to experiment as it would probably bankrupt me with the amount of images I took to get just a few that I am happy with.
I'd really like to take less pictures and be happier with them though.

The birds are busy refreshing their nests and working hard to fill the birdhouses with new life. This is just one of three birdhouses we have along our fence. There's no telling how many birds share this one house, but there is always a lot of activity going on!

Subject : Missing Bollards Chesnut Grove, Tottenham N17
Please see the photo I've posted on Flickr. It shows the end of Chesnut Grove where a row of bollards normally prevents vehicles from accessing the pedestrian-and-bicycle middle section of Chesnut Road. As you can see, two bollards are missing. So an irresponsible driver could gain access to the pedestrian section.
Could you please arrange for replacement of the bollards as soon as possible. Thanks.
