This big hunk of driftwood was covered in sickly green stains. The shapes of the stains against the grain of the salt battered wood appealed to me. I enjoy black and white for the different ways we can see things.

The fife rail on the lower main mast , a scene on the 19th century iron hulled Barque James Craig . Built in Sunderland, England in 1874 , originally named Clan Macleod , she was renamed James Craig in 1905 . She was found sunk and abandoned in 1972 as a rusty rotting hulk in isolated Recherche Bay Tasmania . Patched up and refloated she was taken to Hobart where she remained while vital repairs were carried out for safe towing to Sydney in 1981 , There the serious business of a total restoration began . Through hardship and the generous donations of many the restoration was finally completed in 2001 . Today James Craig is one of only four 19th century tall ships that go to sea regularly .
She is owned by the Sydney Heritage Fleet .

I swear, I was only in the canyon for a short period, but there were just so many angles for photos and so many things to see! This was one of my favourites from antelope canyon - the colour and shape made me almost think of magic and some sort of conjuring. The canyon walls just come to life in the right light. I only wish I had more time to keep exploring it!
Shot with a Canon 5D IV and a 16-35 f/4L. Processed from two images in Camera Raw and Photoshop (manually exposure blended using luminance masks).
